Hwang developed the innovative Pet Cozy. This compact geometric playground for pets combines elegant design with warm materials, making it the perfect complement to modern interior design.

The unique feature of Pet Cozy lies in its origami-like approach. The sheet form of felt naturally lends itself to a flexible design, allowing the product to be formed to fit the unique personality of each pet. By varying the amount of twist, Pet Cozy can transform from an enclosed space to an open-top bed, providing a cozy and comfortable spot for cats and small dogs to play and rest in.

Not only is Pet Cozy aesthetically pleasing, but it is also made from high-quality industrial wool felt. The soft yet rugged texture of the material is fun for furry animals to interact with, while also being sturdy enough to withstand lots of scratching and biting. The design also incorporates a simple assembly using hook and loop fasteners, making it easy to set up and disassemble as needed.

When not assembled, Pet Cozy measures 200mm x 1400mm x 6.35mm (H x W x D). Once assembled, it has approximate dimensions of 650mm x 310mm x 180mm (H x W x D). This compact size allows it to fit seamlessly into any modern home, providing a dedicated space for pets without compromising on style.

The Pet Cozy project started in December 2015 and was ready to launch in early 2016. Since its introduction, it has received accolades for its well-designed, practical, and innovative concept. In 2016, Pet Cozy was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Pet Care, Toys, Supplies, and Products for Animals category. This prestigious award recognizes designs that meet professional and industrial requirements, integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics.
